At VHS MANIA, we are dedicated to ensuring your custom media arrives safely and meets the high standards of the analog community. Because each item is a custom-crafted piece of physical media, please review our policies regarding transit and returns below.

SHIPPING & DELIVERY
All orders are processed and shipped from our headquarters in Ontario, Canada.

Global Reach & Restrictions
We offer international shipping to most countries. However, due to logistical challenges or carrier restrictions, there are select regions where we cannot currently provide service. If your country is restricted at checkout, please contact us for a custom quote or to see if alternative arrangements can be made.

Processing & Production Time
Please note that "Shipping Time" is separate from "Production Time." As each tape is custom-built:

• Production: Typically takes 3–5 business days.
• Transit: Once production is complete, shipping typically takes 7 to 10 business days for most major regions.

Tracking
Full tracking information is provided for every order via email once the package has been scanned by the carrier. It is the customer's responsibility to monitor the tracking link for delivery updates or customs notices.

Customs, Duties & Taxes
For international orders, the recipient is the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country. VHS MANIA is not responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or brokerage fees that may be applied. These charges are the responsibility of the buyer.

RETURNS & REPLACEMENTS
Custom Nature of Goods Due to the custom nature of our products—specifically the personalized artwork and manual recording process—we do not offer "change of mind" refunds once production has begun.

Damaged or Defective Items
Pride in craftsmanship is our priority. If your tape arrives non-functional or the artwork is significantly damaged during transit:

1. Contact us within 48 hours of delivery.
2. Provide photos of the damaged packaging and the product.
3. Upon verification, a replacement will be issued and shipped at no additional cost to you.

General Returns
If a return is authorized for reasons other than a defect or shop error:

• Items must be returned in their original condition, including the shrink-wrap (if unopened).
• Return shipping is at the buyer’s expense.
• Original shipping costs are non-refundable.

PACKAGING & CARE
Protective Measures To ensure your custom sleeve remains in mint condition, we utilize a dual-layer protection system:

• Inner Layer: Industrial-grade shrink-wrap to prevent scuffing and moisture damage to the artwork.
• Outer Layer: High-density bubble wrap and reinforced mailers to withstand the rigors of international transit.

Opening Instructions Extreme care should be taken when opening your package. We strongly advise against using sharp blades or box cutters directly against the packaging surface to avoid accidental nicks or slices to the custom VHS sleeve.

LOST SHIPMENTS
In the rare event that a package is marked as "Delivered" but has not been received, please contact your local postal service first. If a package is deemed lost in transit by the carrier, we will work with you to file a claim and arrange for a replacement.
